Being asked to photograph a wedding is a big task. Being asked to photograph the wedding of a good friend is an even bigger task...

This wedding is special to me..it means a lot. Dinesh and I went to school together for 5 years, and spent weekends riding our bikes together, creating moments and memories that I look back on so fondly. So to see him marry Samantha, someone so full of life and love - not to mention brains - 8 years later made me so immensely happy I wasn't sure if my photos would be enough.

Both Sam and Dinesh's families, I quickly learned while down the coast for their wedding, share so much energy, so much of a bond, so much laughter and tangible love that without knowing how quickly it would happen, I was brought in and treated like one of their own. And then I realised, that's exactly where they get it from; where they get their love, affection and dedication to one another is their family. It was so special to be a part of.

Sam and Dinesh were married at The Priory at Bingie on the South Coast of New South Wales, near Tuross Head, and it was amazing...
